Some of my current research interests are focused on conditions for enhancing learning, and the implementation of pedagogies which promote engagement and critical thinking.
In 2010, I received the Vice Chancellor’s most distinguished individual teacher award at the University of the Witwatersrand and was also the recipient of the South African National Excellence in Teaching and Learning Award (HELTSA/CHE) in 2010.
